OAG Worldwide Announces Appointment of New Managing Director for its Data Business

OAG Worldwide, the leading source of independent airline schedules information, today announced the appointment of Duncan Alexander as managing director, OAG data.

Duncan’s appointment heralds a new phase in OAG Worldwide’s development, following the company’s restructure into two complementary divisions: OAG data and OAG publishing. OAG data specialises in collecting, processing and distributing airline schedules information, whilst OAG publishing focuses on providing comprehensive and reliable travel information to corporations and business travellers.

As managing director of OAG data, Duncan will be working with airlines and others in the industry to identify and develop solutions on data-related issues.

Eddie Bell, Chairman of OAG Worldwide said: “We are delighted to welcome Duncan to OAG data at this exciting stage in OAG's progress. Duncan will be responsible for a number of exciting initiatives we have planned and we are sure his wealth of industry knowledge and experience will prove invaluable.”

Duncan joins OAG data from SITA’s Aerospan.com where he was CEO. Prior to this Duncan was a senior consultant in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Global Aviation practice. He also spent eight years at Galileo International, where he held a range of posts in European sales, marketing and general management.

Duncan is a graduate of Kings College London and is married with two sons.
