How to use the Manual Upload - Tariff Import screen
After submitting the lines of rates, the data must be mapped to indicate what each column of data represents. There is no limit to the number of rate lines that can be imported using the Manual Upload process. However, only the first 50 lines of rates will appear on the Tariff Import screen.

Applying a rate template
- If a rate template has been created that applies to the column order that has been uploaded, select the applicable template from the 'Select rate template' menu and click apply. (How to create a rate template will be explained later in the Manual Upload process.) When a rate template is applied, be sure to spot check the column mappings to ensure they match the data in the columns below. If no applicable rate template has been created, the columns need to be mapped manually by opening the menu above each column and selecting the field name that most appropriately describes what is in the column below it.
- Make sure the Tariff Import screen reflects the correct weight unit for the rates that are to be imported, either kgs (kilos) or lbs (pounds). Clicking on the weight unit icon will change the weight unit type.
- If there are date columns in the uploaded data, make sure that the correct format is reflected in the Date Format field.
Removing rate lines
- Extraneous rows of data, such as the header row from the spreadsheet, may be removed by clicking the checkbox to the left of the row and then by clicking the 'Mark as deleted' button on the far right of the screen.
Mapping the columns
If no applicable rate template has been created, the columns need to be mapped manually by opening the menu above each column and selecting the field name that most appropriately describes what is in the column below it.
Once all columns have been mapped, click Next.
