Inforwarding launches in France

Inforwarding BV today announced it will launch an airfreight portal for the French Airfreight market on October 1st 2004.

Inforwarding is currently informing various local branches of airlines, gsa's and handling companies about the launch.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr Dirk de Rooij, director of Inforwarding BV said today:

About Inforwarding.

Inforwarding was founded in May 2001 with the goal of improving the communication between participants in the air-freight business sector. Participants in this sector are organizations that offer transport of airfreight on the supply side, and airfreight forwarders on the demand side.

By shortening the lines of communication between the organizations in this sector, business processes can be improved. In the near future Inforwarding will extend the functionality of the airfreight portal in France by providing an Air Freight Rate Application as it has also introduced in The Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. AFRA enables airlines to communicate specific airfreight tariffs to airfreight forwarders. Inforwarding currently has over 6000 subscribers and 265 contracts in The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, United Kingdom and Germany.
